Camp Galloway Shirt
I was contacted by a client who wanted a retro-style shirt design for their dungeons and dragons campaign. They had the idea for an old school shirt design and gave me some references of old camp shirts for inspiration.
To start out with, I came up with four different sketches for possible shirt designs. Each had specific reference to the campaign and yet were subtle enough that people wouldn’t immediately recognize it as a dungeons and dragons campaign.
They decided on option 3 and so I cleaned up the design and detailed it a bit more. We decided to remove the border at the top to give it a more open feel to the top and to bring the attention to the fire. this also allowed more practice for my hand done typography.
Finally, I came up with several different colorways that the shirt could have. In the end, they decided on a variation of 1b as well as a second shirt in the color way of 5b.
