A personal graphic design project, I wanted to take the Clavaria Zollingeri mushroom and elevate it by adding symbolism around it. The Clavaria is a gorgeous rich purple type of fungus that exists everywhere and can usually be found near hardwood trees.

The shape and color reminded me of something celestial so surrounding it are flowers and leaves that have celestial symbology, like the sunflower at the bottom or the asters near the base as aster means ‘star’ in latin.
