Wonderlust Logo
A client reached out to me for a logo for their steampunk themed Dungeons and Dragons campaign. They specified elements of fantasy and technology with an emphasis on traditional steampunk aesthetics.
There were several elements such as the mushroom and the combination of some light floral elements that they wanted included. They also wanted reference to a more technical version of a snow sled, so I designed technical drawings for this sled and included them int he background of the design.
Step 1:
To begin with, I created three variants of the logo to see what resonated most with the client. They chose number 3 but requested to see some variations of it.
Step 2:
After the initial run they wanted to see different versions of the lower cog and the upper cog. There was an idea that the top design would change periodically however that was scrapped as it would be more work for the editors.
Step 3:
They decided to go with a gears for the two sections instead of scenery. They also requested to see variants for the interior of the letters as well, so I did a version of a super detailed steampunk design and a more simple victorian lettering.
